The 40th edition of FIMA, the International Trade Fair for Agricultural Machinery was held at Zaragoza in Spain from February 20 to 24, 2018. BKT used this leading trade show for agricultural machinery to highlight its extensive tire range for a variety of different applications, especially its four patterns of the renowned AGRIMAX range.

The Agrimax V-Flecto was displayed in size VF 710/60 R 42 NRO, and offers a mix of innovative technologies that are meant to enhance the performance of the latest-generation tractors on any kind of terrain. The tire offers farmers benefits such as reduced soil compaction, lower operating costs and increased load capacity and offers outstanding levels of performance and reliability. When they use Agrimax V-Flecto, farmers are able to do with minimum effect on the soil as the tire has a tread profile that is 10 per cent larger and comes with an optimized footprint. This tire also offers a much higher load capacity even when the inflation pressure remains the same. When compared to a conventional tire of the same size and with the same recommended rim, the Agrimax V-Flecto can transport 40 per cent more weight. The new tire is also highly durable and shows extraordinary resistance over the time even at low operating pressures. This helps to keep operating costs low.
Another tire that took centerstage at the BKT booth was Agrimax Force, which was exhibited at the FIMA show in size IF 800/70 R 42. This is a radial tire that is designed specifically to maximize the efficiency and performance of high-powered tractors (over 250 HP). The tire incorporates enhanced IF technology for bearing heavy loads at low pressure with improved traction. It offers a larger footprint at low pressure, thus minimizing soil compaction. The special tread design of the tire lends it top self-cleaning properties thus making the tire ideal and comfortable for both field operations and road transfers (up to 65 km/h).

The Agrimax Fortis displayed in size 710/75 R 42 is suitable for use as part of preparation, seeding and tilling operations. It is designed for high-powered 4WD tractors, and offers benefits like excellent traction even on tough terrains along with extraordinary flotation features for minimal soil compaction. Another notable feature is its low rolling resistance thus reducing fuel costs and the level of emissions.

Agrimax Teris (size 800/65 R 32) is a radial tire, that has been specifically designed for use on combine harvesters and modern spreaders which carry heavy loads. It supports these heavy weights without damaging crops. The tire has an optimized lug design and reinforced shoulder which give the tire high stability and excellent traction. It has a large contact patch and hence exhibits excellent flotation features helping farmers to optimize their yield and protect their soil.
